Rolex Daytona 16528 18k Yellow Gold Zenith Movement

Pre-owned Rolex Daytona ref 16528 (1995) is a coveted Zenith Rolex Daytona.  The current production collection is powered by in-house movements, developed and produced entirely by Rolex.  However, that wasn’t always the case.  Before the invention of the first Rolex chronograph in 2000, the brand relied on the El Primero produced by Zenith.  Rolex modified the movement to remove the date and to meet various other specifications and labeled the El Primero as caliber 4030.  As a fascinating part of Rolex history, many collectors find themselves pulled toward the ref. 16528 and other variations of the Zenith Daytona.  This model is cased in yellow gold, adding another level of collectability to the watch. Furthermore, it sports a classic white dial decorated with yellow gold, Tritium, and champagne chronograph sub-dials.
