Pre-owned Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea Challenge ref 126067 (2023) is the Crown’s latest foray into extreme deep saturation divers, this time with an incredible 36,090 foot/11,000-meter depth rating and an RLX titanium finish.  For context, its next most similar counterpart, the Oystersteel Deepsea, is water resistant to 12,800 feet/3,900 meters and features an RLX titanium case back.  The ref. 126067 is cased entirely in titanium and is 30{459b7215e8a30d4508759a81ead35d801b34c763d0640bafa14c8fbbe5fd350d} lighter than the stainless steel prototype that director James Cameron wore as he successfully became the first person to dive solo into the Mariana Trench in 2012. At the same time, this watch takes a very impressive stance on the wrist at 50mm in diameter and 23mm thick – the sapphire crystal alone is 9.5mm thick. As with all dive watches in the contemporary Rolex lineup, the bezel is uni-directional and is outfitted with resilient ceramic “Cerachrom” and features a 60-minute diver’s scale PVD coated with a thin layer of platinum. A black dial accompanies the bezel and is decorated with long-lasting Chromalight for reliable underwater timekeeping.  At the heart of the watch is Rolex’s current production time-only movement, the caliber 3230.
