Rolex GMT-Master II Ref 116718 Black Dial

re-owned Rolex GMT Master II ref 116718 (2011) was the first Rolex GMT to sport a ceramic bezel. It came to market in 2005 and continued production until recently when it was discontinued and replaced by the new-model ref. 126718 in 2023.  Initially, the watch had a green anniversary dial and was later replaced by the black dial Rolex 116718 for sale here. This important model laid the groundwork for the rest of the collection as we know it today and is a very prized collector’s item in many watch-collecting circles.  Furthermore, it exudes prestige and class like no other GMT in lustrous yellow gold.  The bezel features Rolex’s signature “Cerachrom” insert and golden 24-hour graduations. Also, the ref. 116718 displays the time on a sharp black “Maxi” dial with larger luminescent hour markers and wider hands.  The GMT hand and GMT Master II logo are both presented in vibrant green, giving the watch its signature look.
